Wouldn't it be awesome if somebody else could fix this mess for you and you didn't have to do anything different or bother the lawyers in any way?
Sure, but you know that's not possible.
So if you are going to transform, doesn't the solution have to involve your people and your institutional wisdom? And if it has to involve your people (lawyers too) why would you consider outsourcing the effort or your wisdom to someone else to manage for you? What do you think those guys are going to do with your data and experience when they're done with you? Yeah, that doesn't feel right.
Imagine owning this challenge and the solution that comes out of it. Yeah, that feels much better.
